Elder Care Alliance Communities Recognized in 2025 U.S. News Best Senior Living Awards

We are proud to announce that three Elder Care Alliance communities—AlmaVia of Camarillo, AlmaVia of San Francisco, and Mercy Retirement & Care Center—have earned national recognition in the 2025 U.S. News & World Report Best Senior Living ratings. These awards reflect the outstanding care, vibrant lifestyle, and compassionate support our communities offer older adults and their families.

What’s New for 2025?

This year, U.S. News & World Report expanded its Best Senior Living program to include new Emblem Awards, recognizing communities that are rated “High Performing” in specific categories that matter most to residents and families—such as Caregiving, Food & Dining, Activities & Enrichment, and Feels Like Home

To receive an emblem, a community must rank in the top 25% nationally in that category and also earn a high overall satisfaction score. These new accolades highlight the everyday experiences that contribute to a meaningful and fulfilling quality of life—and we’re honored that our communities have been recognized in several of these vital areas.

A Culture of Excellence

These awards are based on in-depth resident and family surveys evaluating areas such as safety, caregiving, enrichment, dining, and overall satisfaction. That our communities were recognized across so many categories—both traditional and newly introduced—is a testament to the passion and professionalism of our team members.

At Elder Care Alliance, we believe senior living should support the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. These 2025 recognitions affirm our commitment to providing not only excellent care, but also meaningful experiences and a true sense of home.
