Resident Stories

My mother is a resident of AlmaVia of Camarillo and the staff are wonderful and treat her special. My mom loves her home there and we feel secure knowing she’s safe and well taken care of. The staff is friendly, caring and sincere.

We moved both my parents to AlmaVia in November of 2014. Mom to memory care. Dad to assisted living. It’s was the best decision we could have made for them. I toured all the facilities in the area at the time and AlmaVia was the best choice for them. They made new friends and discovered old friends were even living there. There is always an event to attend. Mom’s favorite activity was the music. Tuesday with Bill was her favorite day. It’s a community. I go see Dad at least 3 times a week but I see more than just Dad. I have made many friends there and enjoy stopping to chat with everyone. The staff is friendly and courteous always willing to help. They participate yearly, raising funds for Alzheimer’s. I have no worries. I know Dad is in good hands.

We moved both my parents to AlmaVia in November of 2014. Mom to memory Mercy Retirement & Care Center is nice, bright, light, and airy. The rooms are nice, and they have regular religious services. They have a nice cafeteria where they have large gatherings. Every month, they have a special event with entertainment. The food was very good. It was a Cinco de Mayo celebration when I was there, and they had delicious Mexican food. The staff was very good.
