A Culture of Caring
Elder Care Alliance is an association of residential communities with one mission: to help older adults live a life of purpose and belonging rooted in holistic wellness.
Located in the Bay Area and Ventura County, Elder Care Alliance communities are a trusted name in senior living and memory care in California for more than 20 years, and our Mercy community has been serving older adults for more than 100 years.
Our Living Options
Elder Care Alliance has been thinking about what older adults need to call a place their home. Living with us, you can be confident that your needs will be taken care of. From independent living to memory care to skilled nursing.
Aged Focused Apartments
A growing number of older adults who wish to spend their retirement years independently, age-focused communities provide older adults with security and convenience.
Our assisted living communities provide caring support and wellness services to residents. Our goal is to help seniors continue to live independently, with some help when needed.
The Medicare-certified skilled nursing care team at Mercy Retirement and Care Center provides 24/7 professional, short-term rehabilitative stays and long-term skilled care in a comfortable, home-like setting.
We partner with members of local religious congregations and dioceses to provide care management services that are available to both our residents and older adults beyond our communities.
Our Life Enrichment programming is designed to holistically engage and enrich the mind, body, and spirit of our residents, striving to meet the eight domains of wellness: purpose, emotional, environmental, intellectual, social, physical, creative, and spiritual.
Come live with us! Each Elder Care Alliance community reflects the neighborhood in which it is located with the best comforts of home. Our home-like amenities support quality of life while allowing residents to live the lifestyle and care they deserve.
Why Elder Care Alliance
Our mission is focused on the care of older adults — putting their well-being and dignity at the forefront of all we do.
We want our communities to be not just places where older adults live but places where older adults flourish.

“My mom’s cousin has lived at AlmaVia for 10 or 12 years. From what I’ve seen and what she has shared with us, it has been a good place for her and a very good experience. Her apartment is lovely. I’ve eaten with her at Alma Via many times over the years, and the food has consistently been good. Whether it’s been staff or other residents, the people I encounter in the hallway are generally friendly and pleasant.”

“We moved both my parents to AlmaVia in November of 2014. Mom to memory care. Dad to assisted living. It’s was the best decision we could have made for them. I toured all the facilities in the area at the time and AlmaVia was the best choice for them. They made new friends and discovered old friends that they had made over the years living there or have moved in since. There is always an event to attend.”
