A Culture of Caring

Elder Care Alliance is an association of residential communities with one mission: to help older adults live a life of purpose and belonging rooted in holistic wellness.

Located in the Bay Area and Ventura County, Elder Care Alliance communities are a trusted name in senior living and memory care in California for more than 20 years, and our Mercy community has been serving older adults for more than 100 years.

Resident Stories

“My mom’s cousin has lived at AlmaVia for 10 or 12 years. From what I’ve seen and what she has shared with us, it has been a good place for her and a very good experience. Her apartment is lovely. I’ve eaten with her at Alma Via many times over the years, and the food has consistently been good. Whether it’s been staff or other residents, the people I encounter in the hallway are generally friendly and pleasant.”

“We moved both my parents to AlmaVia in November of 2014. Mom to memory care. Dad to assisted living. It’s was the best decision we could have made for them. I toured all the facilities in the area at the time and AlmaVia was the best choice for them. They made new friends and discovered old friends that they had made over the years living there or have moved in since. There is always an event to attend.”
