This philosophy changes the long-term and short-term care culture by approaching it as a collaborative partnership between caregivers and care receivers. Our staff identifies where they can engage residents in activities at their pace and their level. Hence, residents get the medical assistance they need, plus the personal engagement and social interactions they want. Our high-quality rehabilitation program includes physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, as well as nutritional services from a registered dietitian, with protocols developed to meet each resident’s particular needs.

Short-Term Rehabilitation

Recovery from surgery, stroke, or debilitating illness may require a short-term stay at our Care Center. Each room in our skilled nursing Care Center offers a beautiful garden or patio view to make the rehabilitation stay more pleasant.

Long-Term Care

The long-term care program at Mercy Retirement and Care Center provides around-the-clock medical care and significant assistance with daily activities in a comforting, therapeutic environment. Services cater to a wide range of physical, emotional, and social needs, including companionship and care like a home rather than a medical setting.
